Eating Out in Paphos
Paphos’ huge crowds of tourists have attracted so many restaurateurs to set up their businesses all around the town of Paphos. The superb cuisine of the wide array of restaurant choices in Paphos suit all styles, tastes, and budget of customers who prefer to eat out. The exceptional value for money of foods served in the restaurants makes them a favorite among Cypriots and tourists alike. In addition to this, the wonderful scenery of restaurants near the beach and the amazing ambiance of internal seating restaurants provide their customers with the most memorable Paphos eating out experience.
So what are the different kinds of restaurants found here in Paphos. Well, from what I’ve seen, they have the most complete restaurant styles in Cyprus which includes Italian, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, French, International, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Irish, Mexican, Seafood, British, Cypriot, Middle Eastern, and Thai. You can also choose to dine in the various bars, cafes, pizzerias, pubs, and grills.
From our several visits and conversations with other tourists, we came up with the top list of restaurants recommended by them. The first one is Sienna which has one of the largest and most varied menus all over Cyprus. It is quite costly but the amazing dining experience is worth it. They usually have the busiest parking space in town which only means that a lot of people prefer eating here.
Another great restaurant according to tourists’ ratings is Gastronomie. The delicious food is cooked to perfection and it is doubled up with a warm welcome as well as an exceptional service. Even the most standard food offered here is said to be fit for a king and queen.
Goosefat and Garlic restaurant is recommended for special occasion because the food is absolutely first class. The only downside is that it is quite pricey to dine here however, the food is excellent, as mentioned, and the service is exceptional as well.
Colosseum restaurant is indeed unique in some ways because they have found a way to combine the classic taste of Italian food and the zesty food preparations of the French cuisine. You will also find here the largest selection of over 200 vintage wines you can truly enjoy while dining. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere is a definite plus. The biggest attraction here is the fast service as well as the foods offered in low prices.
The Flambe restaurant’s uniqueness is popular a lot of loyal customers. You can experience watching your food being cooked right in front of you. The food here is superb but you should consider booking your reservation in advance because you might encounter queuing on the way in.
If you are more into Indian food then the Taste of India restaurant is definitely for you. Tourists who are fond of the Indian food said that this is the best Indian restaurant they have encountered, probably even better than the Indian restaurants found in India. They said that there is something unique in the foods they serve here. Probably the owner of the restaurant or the chef has a special secret ingredient added to every food they serve.
Paphos is indeed filled with first class restaurants you can surely take pleasure in dining. You can choose to experience all of them if you have more time and money on your hand during your stay or check out the above mentioned top rated restaurants to experience a unique dining experience found only in Paphos.
