Paphos Night Life

Paphos’ rich cultural heritage doubled with scenic views is also home to the partying world as soon as the sun goes down. The night life here is similar to those you can find in big cities. If you’re a party animal, your vacation in Paphos will surely be a hit.

The night life in Paphos brings together people of all ages, both locals and tourists alike. There is a whole street dedicated to the lively clubs and bars called Bar Street, other times people call it Nightlife Street. During the day it may seem like an ordinary street but when night comes, it will be buzzing with huge crowds ready to party.

Woodyz Music Bar is one of the most popular places you can go. It has the best music, alcohol, and atmosphere everybody can enjoy. The staff and management team here are amazingly friendly and hospitable who will do everything to please their customers. This is probably the reason why people are always frequenting this joint.

The Rainbow Disco is probably the oldest and one of the best clubs in Paphos. The party starts early but when it reaches two in the morning, it will start rocking the house. The drinks here are expensive but the ambiance and the party people you will be joining are all worth it. The music genre usually played here are RNB, trance, and garage music.

Another bar you shouldn’t miss when you’re in Paphos is the Robin Hood Bar. The bar’s catchy and flashy replica of a medieval castle appearance makes it one of the most popular tourist attractions. It is located in the heart of the Nightlife Street or Bar Street so you won’t miss it. Every night, they feature a different genre of music so that people who enjoy a particular type of music can spend whole night dancing along the tunes of their favorites.

If you are an old timer who wanted to reminisce the popular tunes of the past, Starsky and Hutch Disco Bar is the place to go. It has captured the 70’s and 80’s old fashioned disco ambiance and you can even buy one of the big colored wigs and other sparkling accessories to get your groove on the dance floor. You can dance the night away with the popular tunes of Abba, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, Wham, and so much more. It’s like crossing over time and going back to your youthful disco days.

If you can’t dance but would surely love to sing the night away in Paphos, Splash Bar is the place for you. It is a karaoke bar doubled with a nice and small swimming pool right in the middle. You can enjoy all sorts of appropriately priced drinks and cocktails they serve here.

As you can see, the nightlife in Paphos is as much enjoyable as the sunbathing and swimming days on its seaside. People of all ages can choose from a wide variety of entertainment establishments located at the Bar Street. You can dance, drink, sing, or just hang out with your friends and family while enjoying good music.

Visited here in July 2007 and would probably never come back again despite having a good time. Paphos itself was lovely and whilst Bar Street was a good night out for a few times, it got a bit tiresome every night.

The rep’s from the bars pester the lift out of you and you find yourself literally running away from them. I understand they’re doing their job but this was relentless! I don’t enjoy being harrassed at home never mind on holiday.

Went into Bubbles and it was absolutely filthy to the point where there was vomit on the floor! The waitress had one hell of a chip on her shoulder and i would not go there again!

However, me and my friend did take a shine to Blue’s Brothers and had a few good nights out there.

Overall i had a good holiday but i just wanted to relax and dance the night away at night-not be chased around by a rep!

yea…actually I heard a lot about Linekers bar on bar street. Ive been there on my holiday to check it out but not realy impressed to be honest. Overpiced drinks, 40+ year old customers not friendly staff and most of the nights was realy quiet…
    not recomended for young people!

That was the 1st time ive been to Pafos and ive been to check out nte new opened Linekers bar and i was realy disapointed. They have offers on for drinks before 10pm, my friend got a double vodka and was charged the normal price and not the offer price which is plastered all over the walls.

As for other drinks, they have a good selection, but dont expect anything premium in this place; I suppose its not the market they are aiming for, and its a good job because they miss it in spectacular style. I specificly asked the barman “do you do redbull” which he said ‘yes’ so i got one….then he pulls out a litre bottle of red rooster, opens it, pours some in and puts it back…HOW CHEAP!!! Its one thing when the bars use cheap energy drinks, and the bars which use 1 can for different people (which is out of order) but this is worst i have seen.

    Hi guys,

Any recommendations about whether Paphos or Agia Napa is better for nightlife? We may be going to either one in Mid Aug – We were considering Napa but were put off by the stories of hyped up idiots who tend to visit there.

Shame because the music is definitely suited to our taste but we would much rather just have a good vibe – What would you recommend. Which has the better nightlife? What are the crowds like? What nationalities do you find there? Etc …the more details the better :) Oh yeah what are drink prices too? Anything you can think of will help

    Thanks :)

Been going to paphos for ten years now three times a year. My parents live there and I’ve just got back today 21 July. All I can say is most of the bars on bar street now are garbage unfortunately over priced crap. The bars that are cheap are full of the sort of people that you wouldn’t want to meet on a dark night. My favourite now woodyz has closed is the waterhole. My friend owns the keg and barrell and I know Kimi who owns woodyz all agree it’s very quiet now. Too expensive flights and cheeper places to go and the balls up with the euro over there.

So sad. Just arrived back in the UK after two weeks in Pafos……Sun, Sea and yes you guessed it Linekers Bar. They have seriously done the name proud, it is without a doubt THE BEST bar on Bar Street. I spent most of my evenings there, the staff were great, fab drinks and games, and got to wear my bikini at night as they have a Beach Party every Friday. They do also have a School Disco on Monday which is a right laugh. Holiday blues already and have only just arrived home. Looking for flights for late August as Linekers are having Booze Cruises every Saturday from 7th August……so gutted……please god let me find cheap flights.

Paphos is my home from home and we love it, not been for a few years, where is this new Linekers near on Bar Street?

Woodyz was fab can’t believe it’s closed down :(

Go to Boogies bar for some great times and a laugh on the Karaoke, Nick will definately make you welcome and help you join in with everyone in the bar.

Just as a warning i also had a very bad experience in Bubbles bar, i would say don’t go in there if its the last bar in Paphos, it has a very bad reputation too.PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Enjoy Paphos i would go back now if i could.
